GAME RESULTS

The Bulldogs went on the road for the last game of the year before the Christmas break and they came home with the win. It was an overall good team win for the dogs with a strong defensive showing and even scoring from several dogs. The Bulldogs head into the holiday season with a win and hopes that more players will be off the injured reserve list when the new year arrives.  Merry Christmas from your favorite hoopers!  

Norman North came to the Dog House coming off of a couple of impressive wins.  The dogs are still working to get their team healthy and it was a battle to the end. The dogs were glad to have Elijah Brown back in the lineup tonight and are hoping for a few more healthy dogs back soon. Despite a great push in the 4th quarter from our Bulldogs the visitors went home with the win. 

The second meeting of crosstown rivals is always a great battle and this second meeting of the year was a better battle than the first. The Huskies were able to come away with another win but the Bulldogs put up fight with a strong run in the second half to nearly even the score. The dogs were excited to see the return of senior Elija Brown to the lineup for this contest, but the Dogs are still down a few key players that are on their way back soon.  The dogs prepare for Norman North next week and will hopefully return to their winning ways.

The Bulldogs home opener was a success with a win over Mustang. The dogs came out strong and played with poise and a steady diet of offense and defense. Great contribution from a variety of players. Mustang made a run in the second half to get back to single digits and then the Dogs defense took over. Franz and Pedulla had key steals that wrapped up the first home win of the year. 

The 3rd place game in the Edmond Open was the first Edlum matchup of the year.  The Huskies came out strong on their home court and ended up with the win over our Bulldogs. The afternoon Saturday game wasn't as energetic as other cross town rival games have been in the past and the Bulldogs are looking forward to a rematch next week.  

The Dogs game our firing in the semifinal game against the Crossing Knights.  Hudson Franz started the game red hot with 12 of the first 14 points of the game. Our Bulldogs fought hard but in the end the depth and strength of the Kinghts got the win. 

First win of the year for the Bulldogs to head into the winners bracket of the Edmond Open.  Good first win against an athletic Enid team.  

The first game of the year is always a great reminder that this is a long and taxing season.  Our Bulldogs still have several key players healing from injury and the Antlers took advantage in some areas.  Its good to see our boys back at it and we are ready to continue the journey.
